Real Life Writing

I Write Like by Mémoires, Mac journal software. Analyze your writing!

So I did a third one for one of my stories and it came out Stephen King again. At least I like both of these authors. Dan Brown was controversial for his ragging on the Catholic Church, but it was fiction and I like a good story. Stephen King on the other hand is one of my very favorite authors and I will read anything he writes.

Okay, just cuz. I'm not entirely sure I agree with this, but hey, who am I to question the great test makers?

You are The Moon

Hope, expectation, Bright promises.

The Moon is a card of magic and mystery - when prominent you know that nothing is as it seems, particularly when it concerns relationships. All logic is thrown out the window.

The Moon is all about visions and illusions, madness, genius and poetry. This is a card that has to do with sleep, and so with both dreams and nightmares. It is a scary card in that it warns that there might be hidden enemies, tricks and falsehoods. But it should also be remembered that this is a card of great creativity, of powerful magic, primal feelings and intuition. You may be going through a time of emotional and mental trial; if you have any past mental problems, you must be vigilant in taking your medication but avoid drugs or alcohol, as abuse of either will cause them irreparable damage. This time however, can also result in great creativity, psychic powers, visions and insight. You can and should trust your intuition.

Okay, interesting.

Your result for The Fan Fiction Personality Test...

The Mindgamer

Everything is possible, nothing is ever really over.

Fanfiction is a creative outlet for you. You don't intentionally write it, it just happens. You find inspiration in several fandoms, but are not obsessed with only one.

You like to explore "what if" situations. What if this character had never made this very choice? What if this event had taken place sooner, never, elsewhere? What if these people had never met?

You are likely to write Alternative Universes, fan seasons or sequels and just follow your (sometimes pretty strange) plot bunnies.

Snagged this from [livejournal.com profile] georgiesmith and completely not surprised.

You scored 57.1%
Cat Person

As a cat person, you approach life with thoughtfulness. You are self-aware and have close friends who will be there for life. The subtleties and mysteries of the world intrigue you. Your ideal Friday night is good conversation or a movie you can't figure out the ending to. Your take-charge attitude sometimes meets with conflict, but you always surpass expectations when it comes to your work. You value intelligence, grace and independence, which is why a feline friend is best for you. A few famous cat lovers are Regis Philbin, Katie Couric and Jay Leno.

Your result for The What type of MAN turns you on Test...

Mysterious boy

You scored 45% masculine, 47% athletic, 73% exotic, and 44% refined!

You like a man who is on the exotic side. Dark and mysterious but not over the top macho. You do, however like a little bit of bad boy in him and he sure knows what to do with his sleeker bod in the bedroom! Someone like.....Johnny Depp. But let's face it, the whole point of this was to look at a bunch of hot guys. If you liked what you saw, please rate my test!

You Are a Cartographer

You have a wide range of knowledge and you're very detail oriented.

You have a photographic memory, and you remember places very well.

Like a middle ages cartographer, you're also very adventurous and curious about the world.

In modern times, you would make a good non-fiction writer or scientist.

1) Leave a comment saying you would like to be interviewed.

2) I will then respond with 5 questions that quite possibly could be personal -- or not, whatever mood I'm in.

3) Then update your LJ with the questions I've asked.

4) Put these same rules (or something that resembles them) with your questions.

5) When people ask you to interview them, you will ask them five questions.

Here are my questions from przed:

1) How did you make your way into fandom?
I was online looking for Man from U.N.C.L.E. stuff. I'd never seen the show but had seen the movies as a kid. I already knew about fan fiction for Star Trek TOS. I stumbled on some MFU fan fiction and I was hooked. Goth the dvd's for Christmas and now I can finally say I've seen the series. I've always liked David McCallum and would watch anything he turned up in.

2) If money and time were no object, where would you most like to travel to?
I've always wanted to visit Scotland because my grandparents were from there. Second choice would be Japan. I was lucky enough to live in France and Germany as a child because my dad was in the Army.

3) What's your absolutely favorite type of food?
Italian. I love pasta dishes.

4) What piece of writing are you most proud of? Fannish or non-fannish, doesn't matter.
The paper I wrote for my senor project in college. It was called "Physiology of the Voice and Voice Health." I was a Biology and Music major and wanted to find a way to combine both fields. The paper also included a presentation.

5) What's your favorite piece of U.N.C.L.E. fan fiction written by another author?
A story called "The Boys from Berlin" by Cord Smithee. I've always been interested in WWII history and the story completely works.

Well, there are my answers. Anyone else game?
