OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG!!!!!! They need to do this again! The new Star Trek movie is awesome!!!!!! I would even pay to see it again; and I haven't said that about a movie for a very long time. Gene Rodenberry would be proud. I found a couple of canon errors, and the actor playing Kirk seemed to take a little while to get into the character. But other than that. The characters were dead on. That's all I'm saying for now. Don't want to give anything away. : )

WE saw the movie yesterday and I have to agree with you. As a long time Trekkie (and proud of the moniker)I as not embarassed or disappointed by the movie. It had just the right balance of humor, action and plot (thank you, Goddess), it actually had a plot!

It was hard to see Nimoy so old and it looked like he had dentures too big for his mouth - does that make sense? He hasn't aged as well as, say Connery or Stewart, but neither has Gibson or Ford. It's hard to admit that one's first crush is an old man. At least McCallum still looks good...

As a ST fan, I went home happy!
